Itinerary
08:00: Hapro Travel’s bus and guide pick you up at your hotel.
08:30: Start of your journey visit to President Ho Chi Minh’s Complex, which includes Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum - the final resting place of Vietnamese Great Father or Uncle Ho, President Ho Chi Minh’s Stilt House, where he lived on and off from 1958 to 1969, the One Pillar Pagoda - a group of structures consisting of a pagoda and a tower built in the middle of a square lake, then Ho Chi Minh’s Museum, where you can learn well about him. The next place to move to is West Lake, the biggest lake in Hanoi. Here you visit Tran Quoc Pagoda. Visit the Temple of Literature, which is known as the first University of Viet Nam or the Confucius Temple.
12:00: Lunch in a local restaurant.
Option I:
Then we go back to the city centre and move on to Hoan Kiem Lake for visit to Ngoc Son Temple. After that the bus takes you to your hotel. Tour ends at around 15:00.
Option II:
Then we go back to the city centre and move on to Hoan Kiem Lake for visit to Ngoc Son Temple.
13:30: Continue your visit to the Ethnology Museum, a bit drive out of the city centre. Here, you may find a good collection of the cultural mosaic of all 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups.
After that the bus takes you to your hotel. Tour ends at around 16:00.
Option III:
Then we go back to the city centre and move on to Hoan Kiem Lake for visit to Ngoc Son Temple.
13:30: Continue your visit to the Ethnology Museum, a bit drive out of the city centre. Here, you may find a good collection of the cultural mosaic of all 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups.
Enjoy an hour Pedicab tour around the old town or a Water Puppet Show.
17:00: Transfer to your hotel. End of all services.

Important notes:
- All museums are closed on Mondays, Fridays. Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is closed on Mondays and Fridays and opens only in the morning from 7:30 – 11:00 and annually closes for two months in October and November for maintenance.
- Too short clothes are not allowed in Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and pagodas. Your clothes should be long enough to cover your knees and shoulders.
HOA LU - TAM COC – HA LONG BAY ON LAND

Hoa Lu and Tam Coc are two most beautiful sceneries of Ninh Binh province, just 100 km southeast of Ha Noi. Hoa Lu is the Ancient Royal Capital under Dinh Dynasty and pre-Le Dynasty, which lasted 41 years (968-1009). In comparison with Hoa Lu, Tam Coc is considered Ha Long Bay on land because of its beauty and charm. Sitting on boat en route Tam Coc, you have a good chance of viewing the scenic beauty of huge rocks standing along river and scattered green rice fields, which are all combined to form a poetic painting of the countryside. |
Itinerary
07:30: Hapro Travel’s bus and guide pick you up at your hotel.
08:00: Leave Hanoi by road for Hoa Lu - Tam Coc. It takes around two hours to arrive in Hoa Lu. You have a good chance to see the landscapes along the road. Upon arrival, your tour guide takes you to visit Hoa Lu, the Ancient Royal capital of Viet Nam. Here you will visit two temples dedicated to Dinh and Le Kings. Continue your visit to Tam Coc by bus.
Optional: Continue your visit to Tam Coc with a twelve km bicycle ride from Hoa Lu along the country lane with green paddy fields. Arrive in Tam Coc after one-hour cycling, stop in a local restaurant near Tam Coc for lunch at approximately 12:00.
13:30: Take a small sampan at the wharf to visit Tam Coc, which is literally known “three Caves”, the first cave (Hang Ca) is the longest one, which is considered a real rainbow in the water in the morning time stretching on both sides of the Ngo Dong River. The quiet movements of the oars create a sort of musical rhythm inside the cave. As the sampan leave the cave, you can see what seems to be an old man with white beard fishing, fairy flying in the clouds, peasants collecting fuel and a group of white goats grazing on the hills. The sampan takes you to the second cave (Hang Hai) and the third cave (Hang Ba) before returning to the sampan wharf. Back to Ha Noi in the late afternoon. Tour end at your hotel.

PERFUME PAGODA

A religious shrine known as Perfume Pagoda is located in Ha tay Province, just 100 km far from Ha Noi. This is one of the most popular places for visitors with a series of pagodas built inside the grottoes, the shrines are sacred and typical for many Buddhists all over the world. It is thus not a bad idea for you to share the experience with many religious pilgrims. |
Itinerary:
07:30: Hapro Travel’s bus and guide pick you up at your hotel.
08:00: Leave Ha Noi for Ha Tay. It takes you about two hours by road plus one and a half hours rowing boat along the Yen (Swallow Bird) stream to get to Perfume Pagoda. Here you can enjoy the scenic waterway, dotted by romantic range of mountains. It takes another two hours trekking up to the Main Cave Pagoda or Huong Tich pagoda or so called the pagoda of the perfume vestige. Visit Thien Tru pagoda or so called pagoda leading to Heaven on the way back. Have lunch in a local restaurant.
PM: Boat trip back to Ben Duc and then back to Hanoi. Take a short break at Van Phuc – a traditional handicraft silk village. Arrive in Hanoi at around 19:00. Tour ends at your hotel.

CUC PHUONG - VAN LONG - KENH GA

Destinations: Cuc Phuong national park, “hot spring” and amazing Van Chinh cave in Kenh Ga, Van Long
This tropical primitive forest was discovered in 1960 and became a natural reserve of the country two years later. Cuc Phuong is famous for its dozens of picturesque caves, the most interesting being Nguoi Xua Cave (Cave of ancient Men) where prehistoric stone tools were found. Cuc Phuong National Park is home to some 2,000 species of flora. Some rare trees of the prashsorea and dracontomelum families reach the age of 1,000 years and are from 50 m to 70 m height. The park grows at least 50 varieties of orchids; most of them are fragrant the year long. Cuc Phuong is also home to 262 species of animals, birds and reptiles, including wild horses, monkeys, flying squirrels, flying squirrels, flying lizards, etc. Besides, there are also hundreds of species of beautiful and rare birds nesting here.

Day 2: After breakfast. Leave Cuc Phuong for Kenh Ga, take the tiny bamboo boat to visit the “preserved nature area”: enjoy a wonderful view – similar as Ha Long Bay but more silent and ecological. Visit the “hot spring” and amazing Van Chinh cave. After that coming back to the restaurant for lunch.
